The desire is to secure the consumers against illegal estate agents and give them a chance, when it comes to the housing market. By doing business through an estate agent, who has the right to use the safety mark, you achieve a number of advantages:

Professional safety: You can be sure of the fact that you are doing business with a state-authorized estate agent, who has the professional qualifications to do business with real property. At the same time you are secured that the documents of trade are distributed in your language.

Financial security: You can be sure of the fact that the trade includes the estate agent’s public liability insurance and a guarantee. At the same time the estate agent guarantees safety for the deposited purchase price.

Legal safety: You can be sure that you are dealing with an estate agent, who is included in the Danish law of sale of real estate.

Consumer safety: You can be sure of the fact that you are dealing with an estate agent, who is placed under the strict rules of consumer protection through both legislation and rules of the trade association. All the while you as a consumer are secured the possibility to complain to “The Complaints Board of the Property’s Mediation and The Disciplinary Board”.
