Golf
in the area
Due
to the high average temperature Costa Blanca is without a doubt one of the most
ideal places in the Mediterranean when it comes to playing golf. By now Costa
Blanca is called “Spain’s Golf Coast”, and it is on its way to further
growth in the development of golf with still growing interest.
Already there are 18 golf courses between Alicante and La Manga and with more
than ten new courses on the way. The Spanish east coast is on its way to outdo
Costa del Sol concerning investments in golf projects and properties.
With
the possibility to hold PGA tournaments the estate agents talk about a future
increase in golf properties close to 50%, because of the continuous growing
interest especially among the North Europeans. Since the area is already popular
among both Spanish and European buyers, it is therefore only naturally to start new
golf projects. But the area has more than golf and climate to offer. It has also
good transport facilities with daily departures from the three airports
(Alicante, Valencia and Murcia), to and from all larger
European cities. The development within golf in the area has let to the
construction of many new properties right from villas to houses and apartments.
Buying a property near one of Costa Blanca’s golf courses is therefore a safe
investment.
